SECURITY ISSUE:  Notice that 3CX again has a security flaw.  You'd do well to just read these concerns and not ask questions about them publically or on the 3CX forums else you might have to add your name to the very long list of banned people!

My personal journey

with 3CX and accounts from compadres 

New NEWS.  3CX fires partners for asking when they might have a resolution to the very public hack.  That's right folks, get fired for asking about getting hacked.

Synopsis

It has been a common thread among 3CX users that you do not request features or changes, criticize any feature, or have any sort of concerns about changes that force you to go to customers and 'downgrade' their configurations,  etc.  In fact, posts complaining about 3CX are often deleted from Facebook groups so that people commenting don't feel the wrath of an angry god-dictator CEO in Nick.

While it's not uncommon for change to be painful, what is uncommon is for a company to attack partners for expressing concerns or complaining about the financial pain they face from those changes.  Those attacks are often email and verbal exchanges with big egos at the company with threats laced throughout.  Often enough, silent bans and removal from programs.

My Experience

For me, the author of this post and jerk two bought the domain, I'm not even sure why they did what they did. 

• 3CX banned me from the forums entirely, unable to read.  I had 2 accounts, a business and a personal, both banned.  This is a primary support channel for 3CX partners

• 3CX deleted me from the partner portal with no explanation.  

• 3CX blocked me from purchasing support or getting support in any way despite me being a paying customer with thousands of dollars in licenses purchased

• emails to the boss man from my email accounts bounce

It is my opinion that banning someone from access to support or any contact with the company that has paid for a term product is a breach of contract.  This makes 3CX a hostile company operating with complete disregard for the laws in the United States (and probably other places). 

3CX has also switched to a model of poaching.  They routinely send out sales emails to various emails on a PBX system with offers for self-hosting on their hosting platform.  This is also a bad-faith action, targeting a partner's customers for direct sales.

Anecdotes from other users:

• got banned for saying 'it's just 3cx being 3cx'

• a few dozen people were banned for claiming that going from multitenant to individual VMs was going to be expensive

• one person reported an immediate ban and deletion of account because they posted on linked in that they were switching from 3CX to another product

• one reported that calls from their phone number get put in an endless queue when calling 3cx but if they *67 they get through.

• another reported that multiple subdomains over multiple months were deleted without reason but suspected a vendetta

• many report silent bans from forum and account deletion with no reason or warning.

• not having the right 'attitude' when making a request, ban.

• asking about the hack and when it will be resolved. 

• C.U. pt1. 3CX regional sales manager told us by pre-purchasing licenses to get to Gold partner tier, we would receive more than enough referrals from their website enquiries to recoup the costs. In one year we received only one referral and that was over 1000 miles away in a different state.

• C.U. pt2. 3CX advised us to wait until near the end of our prepaid support to convert to annual licencing because the free year of annual starts as soon as you convert. They failed to tell us that the free year annual offer was ending. We have emails an everything telling us to do this and refused to give what they promised. Escalated issue, ignored.
